hey mate,

thanks for your great resources for drupal... I've been through a few of them and they've taught me a lot!

I'm actually trying to create multiple blogs running on the same site with various contributors but am having trouble... your resources are proving to be a great help in understanding the steep learning curve that drupal throws at newbies.

if you have any tips on creating the effect i'm after i would really appreciate it...

With drupal you can setup a multi blog site using the blog module. All you have to do is tick the "Edit own blog" permission in administrator -> User management -> Access Control, this will give any authenticated user access to create a blog. Just play around with that. Also reply if you need extra help.
